Cinnamon Apple Pork Chops

INGREDIENTS:
4 boneless pork chops, 3/4-inch thick
Vegetable oil
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 ½ cup lite (unsweetened) cinnamon applesauce, warmed in sauce pan over medium heat

DIRECTIONS:
1. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Brush chops lightly with oil and brown chops on both sides, turning once, about 3-4 minutes.

2.Sprinkle chops with pepper, add broth and lemon juice. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer gently for 5 minutes.

3.To serve, top with warm applesauce.
