7:158:30 PM Lyrical Jazz (Studio 1) Tracy Schrauben
The fluidity of lyrical combined with the technique of ballet and the freedom of jazz make up this class. Learn body sequencing, spatial patterning, quality of movement and musicality. In addition, students will learn how to move through space using levels and distance.

Session 2: Samba class
Denoted as the “party dance”, Samba is a lively, rhythmical and upbeat dance that originated in Brazil. There is actually a set of dances, rather than a single dance, that defines the Samba dancing scene in Brazil. You will learn the basic walking steps and side steps of the Samba along with the vertical bounce action that characterizes this dance. This effortless and carefree dance will make you the life of any party. Partners and singles are welcome.
Session 3: Salsa class
Denoted as the “party Salsa is the Spanish word for "sauce" denoting a "spicy" and "hot" flavor to this popular dance style. Having originated from Mambo its exciting music also reflects the fusion of an Afro-Cuban beat with enhanced jazz textures. Salsa is a casual, adaptable dance with varied texturing and a 'must learn' for anyone wanting to go out to a Latin club or travel to a Latin American destination. Partners and singles are welcome.

7:158:45 PM HipHop (Studio 2) Shane Marie King
Shane Marie King teaches a style of dance that began on the streets of New York and has evolved to become popular culture. A combination of R&B, Rap, and Dance music inspires this fresh and funky dance style as seen in music videos today.
COST:
4week session: Members $36, College Students $40, Guest $48
5week session: Members $45, College Students $50, Guests $60
*Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to the start of the first class in order to receive a refund. You will be pro-rated any classes that you miss prior to your sign-up date. We do not offer single-class rates. If you are unable to attend a class for any reason after the date in which you sign up, you will forfeit this amount.
**Minimum of 7 people required to run a class. Registration deadline is 24 hours prior to the start of the first class in order to determine if a class will run.
***Students must show their college ID at time of registration.
