Monday, December 09, 2013 - U.S. Senator visits Sparrow Specialty Hospital

Carl Levin, U.S. Senator for Michigan, stopped by Sparrow Specialty Hospital (SSH) when he was in town recently to meet with leaders and take a tour of the facility.

In particular, Levin met with Kira Carter-Robertson, SSH President; Tina Gross, SSH Director of Clinical Services; Rick Fellows, Vice President of Compliance, and John Shaski, Sparrow Government Relations Officer to discuss legislation that affects Long Term Acute Care Hospitals (LTACHs), like Sparrow Specialty, and to support patient access to care close to home.
