Cervical Cancer

Cervical Cancer can happen at any age, but incidence rises as women get older. When it is detected and treated early, cervical cancer is curable. A PAP smear is an easy and highly effective method for screening for cervical cancer.

Screening Recommendations Have a PAP smear yearly when you become sexually active, or after the age of 18. Have an annual pelvic exam by your health care provider.
