Welcome to the electronic gateway to Behavioral Health Services at Sparrow Health System
in Lansing, Michigan. Most of our services are located on the St. Lawrence Campus of the
Health System, but there are also components of our services housed in the main Michigan
Avenue campus. We would like to provide you with an overview of our services, locations,
and the criteria we use to determine the level of care that is best suited to the needs of
those seeking our services. Also provided are additional resources to help you become an
informed consumer of behavioral health services.
The mission of Sparrow Behavioral Health Services is to be a comprehensive
center of behavioral health care excellence that offers a full spectrum of
quality, cost effective care including prevention, inpatient, outpatient and
community-based services. The Behavioral Health program provides or coordinates
resources for those individuals who experience an emotional or psychological
crisis, psychiatric illness or substance addiction. Behavioral health services
are provided through our own efforts and through collaborative bridges with
other quality health care providers.
