  • Patients must have undergone complete resection of their cancer prior to enrollment
  • Patients must be no less than 6 weeks and no more than 12 weeks post-thoracotomy and must be adequately recovered from surgery
  • Patients must not have received the following: Prior systemic chemotherapy at any time, Hormonal cancer therapy or radiation therapy prior cancer treatment

Horizontal Rule

APRiCOT-L " A Randomized, Double-Blind Placebo-Controlled Multicenter Phase 2 Study of the Efficacy and Safety of Apricoxib in Combination with Erlotinib in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Patients". (TP 2001-201)

  1. Pathologically determined stage IV NSCLC, including stage IIIb.
  2. Failed >/= 1 prior platinum-based chemotherapy.
  3. >/= 18 years of age.

Horizontal Rule

“A Randomized Phase II Study Evaluating Vandetanib (ZD6474) in Combination with Docetaxel and Carboplatin ± Placebo or Maintenance Therapy with Vandetanib in Patients with IIIb, IV or Recurrent Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC)” (PrECOG-PrE0501):

  • Patients must have advanced stage NSCLC that is primary or recurrent
  • Patients must have measurable disease according to the RECIST criteria

Horizontal Rule

A Phase II Randomized, Placebo-Controlled, Double-Blind Study of Carboplatin/Paclitaxel in Combination with ABT-869 Versus Carboplatin/Paclitaxel Alone in Subjects with Advanced or Metastatic Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer as First-Line Treatment (M10-301):

  • Patients must have recurrent, advanced or metastatic disease that is not amendable to surgical resection or radiation with curative intent
  • Patient must have no prior anti-cancer therapy
  • Cannot receive radiation therapy within 21 days of study entry

Horizontal Rule

A Multinational, Randomized, Double-Blind Study Comparing AfliberceptVersus Placebo in Patients Treated with Second-Line Docetaxel after Failure of One PlatinumBased Therapy for Locally Advanced or Metastatic Non-Small-Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC). (VITAL) (VITAL-EFC10261):

  • Histological/cytological proven locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer
  • Disease progression during or after one, and only one, prior anticancer therapy which is platinum-based
