Phase II Trial of Twice Weekly Induction Followed by Once Weekly IV VELCADE (Bortezomib) with Dexamethasone in Patients with Relapsed and/or Refractory Multiple Myeloma Following at Least One Prior Therapy (i071-341-03 VELCADE):
- For patients with refractory/relapsed MM and progression of disease after last therapy
A Randomized Phase III Trial of CC-5013 (Lenalidomide, NSC-703813) and Low Dose Dexamethasone (LLD) Versus Bortezomib (PS-341, NSC-681239), Lenalidomide and Low Dose Dexamethasone (BLLD) for Induction, in Patients with Previously Untreated Multiple Myeloma Without an Intent for Immediate Autologous Stem Cell Transplant (SWOG S0777):
- Patients must have newly diagnosed multiple myeloma
- Patents must have received no prior chemotherapy for this disease, and no prior radiation to a large area of the pelvis
Bone Marker Directed Dosing of ZOMETA® (zoledronic acid) for the Prevention of Skeletal Complications in Patients with Advanced Multiple Myeloma (ZMARK):
- Confirmed Multiple Myeloma with at least 1 lesion on conventional radiographs, are on monthly IV biphosphonate therapy for the treatment of osteopenia from multiple myeloma
- ECOG performance status of 0, 1, or 2.
- Started on IV biphosphonates treatments, and received a minimum of 4 doses of IV biphosphonates treatment, 52-104 weeks prior to 1st Zometa treatment on study
