Pilocarpine for Vaginal Dryness: A Phase III Randomized, Double Blind, Placebo - Controlled Study (NCCTG N04CA):
- Adult post menopausal women with history of breast cancer (currently no evidence of disease) or women who do not
want to take vaginal estrogen
- Significant vaginal complaints defined as persistent vaginal dryness and/or itching of sufficient severity to make a patient desire therapeutic intervention. Should have been present greater than 2 months prior to randomization.
Prevention of Cisplatin-or Oxaliplatin-induced Peripheral Neuropathy with Alpha-lipoic Acid: A Placebo Controlled Phase III Trial. (MDA 2004-0728)
- The patients scheduled chemotherapy must contain cisplatin or oxaliplatin.
- Patients must have a normal state of arousal and be generally devoid of confusion, memory or concentration deficit.
- Moderately normal liver and kidney function.
