Auxiliary - Clinton Memorial's Auxiliary has been the mainstay of the hospital for over 80 years. Its membership continues to provide leadership, funding and moral support to the hospital, staff and medical community.
The first official meeting of the Auxilians was held February 9, 1927 at the home of Miss Mary Smith, who as later elected the First Vice-Chairperson. Today, Kathie Clock and Jeanette Huard are co-presidents of the 40-member organization that raises thousands of dollars for the hospital annually.
Some of the projects the Auxiliary undertakes include:
Gift Therapy Gift Shop - Located adjacent to the main entrance of the hospital, the gift shop is open Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Gift Shop features a variety of specialty items, glass/crystal, holiday novelties, cards, candy and gum, books, children's toys, gifts, and pictures.
Puppet/Sewing Committee - This group meets once a month to make and sew puppets that are given to children who visit the Emergency Room, Laboratory, Diagnostics or are an inpatient. They make over 100 puppets a month.
