Stroke for Life
The Stroke for Life Golf Outing is held in July at the Emerald at Maple Creek Golf Course ten minutes
north of St. Johns. There are morning and afternoon scrambles.
This outing was started in 1984 and to date has raised over $550,000 for improvements at Clinton Memorial Hospital.
Derby Nite Ball
The annual ball is held every year in October. The 2007 theme was Derby Nite Ball and featured live music,
dinner, auctions, virtual horse racing, and dancing. The event sold out ten days in advance and raised over
$15,000 to help purchase pulmonary function equipment.
