Time to start learning valuable information about pregnancy and childbirth. Classes are designed for those expecting, labor and birth education classes are taught by our team of passionate childbirth educators. Ideal time to take classes is during an expectant mother's third trimester. Participants will learn about labor, birth positions, stages and phases of labor, how to time contractions and more.

Capital Area Baby Café: is a drop-in program for breastfeeding moms and those thinking about breastfeeding, providing support from other mothers and skilled breastfeeding counselors. Children are welcome.

Expectant Parents Organization (EPO), a 501C3, community based agency, has been serving Mid-Michigan parents for over 70 years. Our team of educators have s has a deep appreciation for the importance of partnering with families during the special time of pregnancy, childbirth and parenting a newborn. This is an exciting time, full of many changes for parents to be. EPO is here to help with preparing you for childbirth and parenting, to guide you on this life changing journey. We offer a variety of engaging classes supporting best practices for the health of mom, baby and family; providing participants with skills, knowledge and support needed to make informed decisions and choices, promoting a positive birth and parenting experience. We know that the more you know, the better prepared you will feel and the more confidence you will have.
