WHEN TO REGISTER
PLEASE REGISTER EARLY!
Contact us during the third, fourth or fifth month of pregnancy to schedule your classes. Choose a class based on your DUE DATE and your availability. You will want to finish the classes four to six weeks before your due date. Classes fill approximately two to three months prior to the start date, so please register early. Pre-registration is required.

INSURANCE COVERAGE
Physicians Health Plan (PHP) and Sparrow Physicians Health Network (SPHN-Sparrow Associates only) offer prenatal classes as a benefit. They will cover the fee for the following classes:
- Four-Week Basic Prenatal Combo
- Three-Week Saturday Prenatal Combo
- One-Day Saturday Prenatal Seminar - PHP and SPHN will cover $110; your balance will be $30
- Labor & Delivery Refresher
- Newborn Care and Feeding Class
- eClass - ONLY if mother is on bedrest or out of area for classes
Please include insurance information (Group Number and Subscriber Number) with your registration form, as well as the birth date of the card holder.
Please Note: Classes are not covered for Physicians Health Plan Family Care clients. If you are a PHP Family Care client, you may want to apply for financial assistance through EPO. See the information below.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Financial assistance is available for most EPO programs. Click here to download a copy of the Financial Assistance Form OR call 517.337.7365 for more information. Financial assistance is not available for the following classes:
- Private Classes
- One-Day Prenatal Seminar Class
- The Best Newborn Care Class Ever
REFUNDS
- A $5.00 processing fee will be charged for all refunds.
- No refunds will be given after your scheduled class has begun.
- Refunds for the One-Day Prenatal Seminar must be requested at least 5 business days before the class date.
- No refunds will be given for the eClass Program after the invitation link has been sent.
