Please register early! Contact us during the fourth or fifth month of pregnancy to schedule your classes. You will want to finish the classes three to four weeks before your due date.

Insurance Coverage for Prenatal Classes

Currently Physicians Health Plan (PHP) and Sparrow Physicians Health Network (SPHN-Sparrow Associates only) offer prenatal classes as a benefit. The class fee will be covered for most programs. Enclose a copy of your insurance card with your registration form and the birth date of the card holder. If your health insurance is with another company, ask them if prenatal classes are included as a benefit.

Class Locations

All programs are available in the Lansing/East Lansing area. In addition, the Preparing for Birth, Labor and Delivery and the Newborn Care and Feeding classes are available in St. Johns and Holt on a more limited basis.
