Chapel
The Chapel at Sparrow Hospital is located on the first floor near the Security office. The St. Lawrence chapel is located on the first floor near the cafeteria. They are both open at all times for quiet prayer and meditation for people of all faiths.

Dining Options
The Sparrow Cafeteria is open daily from 5 a.m. to 3:30 a.m. Stop in for a coffee, a snack or an entire meal.

The Court 1200 is located on the second floor of the Sparrow Professional Building. Full service is provided Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., smoothies and ice cream until 5 p.m.

Gift Shops
There are Gift Shops located at both Sparrow and St. Lawrence campuses. Both locations carry a complete line of greeting cards, a wide variety of sundries, flowers, magazines, candy, jewelry, glassware and gifts. Flowers can be ordered online for delivery at the Sparrow campus.

The Gift Shop Cart is a mobile unit with items for sale that visits each patient care unit daily, Monday through Saturday at the Sparrow campus.

Library
The library is located on the first floor of the Sparrow Professional Building. Library hours are Monday-Friday 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. The Medical Library Reference Desk can be reached by calling 517.364.5660 (select option 1).

Restrooms
Restrooms are conveniently located on each level of the hospital and are handicap accessible.

Smoking
The hospital is smoke-free. No smoking is permitted on campus.

Surgical Lounge
Family members of patients having surgery (with a scheduled duration of more than 4 hours) are eligible for temporary use of Sparrow in-house pagers. This will allow family members to visit the cafeteria, gift shop or step outside for a few moments without fear of missing an update from the physician or nursing staff. These pagers function only at the Sparrow campus and are provided free of charge. See the Volunteer in the Surgical Lounge for more information on the day of your visit.

Telephones
Public telephones are located throughout Sparrow Hospital. The use of cell phones is permitted, except in restricted areas. When in restricted areas, cell phones must be turned off.

Vending Machines
Vending machines are located at a number of locations around the hospital. Check with the Information Desk or a Sparrow Associate for exact locations.
