Sparrow’s Regional Heart Center
is a leader in advanced cardiology, surgical and diagnostic services. Moreover, it’s skilled team of professionals
and physicians perform more than 60,000 innovative, non-invasive procedures annually, including thousands of
catheterizations. In addition, hundreds of open-heart surgeries are performed each year by nationally
recognized surgeons.
In 2008, Sparrow will have a brand-new, 38,000 square-foot heart center with the best and latest equipment.
It is part of a ten-story, west wing addition at Sparrow Hospital. Most important, privacy is paramount in
the new center as patients and families will have individual rooms. Also, this new facility will house a
teaching center to help foster the latest in cardiac care right here in Lansing.
Sparrow has a Heart Club. Its mission is to ensure Lansing residents have access to the latest and best
cardiac care. Through philanthropic support, Sparrow can continue to invest in this important, growing service.
