Who can receive services from Hospice House of Mid-Michigan?
People of all ages, with any disease, may receive hospice care.
There are two main criteria for admission to hospice. First, the patient has a life expectancy of six months or less if the disease continues its normal course. Second, the patient chooses to change the focus of care from actively treating their disease to receiving comfort care.
