WILX TV-10 and Sparrow have teamed up for the annual Children's Miracle Network (CMN) Broadcast since Sparrow became a Children's Miracle Network hospital in 1989.
CMN is now the leading children's charity in the world. The 171 CMN-affiliated hospitals in the United States and Canada treat more than 14 million children each year.
They care for more kids than ANY other charity. CMN hospitals provide care for all kids regardless of their family's ability to pay. Every year, more than 40,000 children
visit the Regional Children's Center at Sparrow. These kids are from the Lansing area and all over Michigan and, because of CMN, they receive the best care possible.
Children represent the largest group of uninsured people in mid-Michigan. Sparrow Hospital provides more than $37.9 million annually in charity and other uncompensated care.
CMN funds help expand facilities, conduct important research, purchase equipment, and sponsor community health and wellness programs for children to help keep them out of the hospital.
The Sparrow Regional Children's Center can't do it alone. They depend on individuals, businesses and organizations to champion this cause.
