Working up a sweat? Eat!

After your workout, eating a meal with both protein and carbohydrates can help your muscles recover and replenish your energy stores. For maximum benefit, eat within two hours after you exercise. A whole-grain sandwich with lean meat or peanut butter is a good choice. So is yogurt and fruit.
