The Cardiac Intensive Care Unit is a 12
bed unit that specializes in providing hi-tech, compassionate
nursing care to the critically ill or closely monitored
medical/surgical adult with an emphasis on caring for the
medical heart patient. The unit is comprised of an all RN
staff with a Critical Care Technician and a Health Unit
Coordinator. The average nurse patient ratio is one RN to two
patients.
