The Sparrow Hospice Bereavement Program is available to provide support and companion individuals who are experiencing grief and loss related to the death of a loved one. The services provided are available to the families of our hospice patients as well as to the community. These services are free of charge and range from short-term individual counseling, support groups, and educational literature about the grieving process and what to expect.

Ongoing Grief Education Series
Ongoing education group that can be joined any time throughout the year. If you attend all 12 classes, beginning at any point, you will cover all the topics for this class. Topics include: grief processes, identity changes, self-care, spirituality, memorialization, coping with grief, and music therapy.

Handling the Holidays
Workshop on handling the holidays while grieving, presented jointly with Hospice of Lansing.
