Combination Cardio/Strength Classes

These classes include a cardio segment with various applications of upper & lower body and core strength work.

Cardio Sculpt: a multi-level class that begins with lower body conditioning and transitions to intervals of cardio and weights. Speed and power drills are incorporated.

Cardio Variety: a “base level” class to offer an introduction to exercises with simple routines. Classes vary between low impact, low impact with weights and STEP aerobics.

Workout with Weights: interval cardio and weight class with emphasis on muscle conditioning and endurance; variety of equipment used including barbells, dumbbells, tubes and exercise ball.

Hi/Lo Cardio: a powerful cardio segment with intensity options for all fitness levels, followed by challenging upper and lower body strength work.

Kick Fit: martial arts based kicking and punching techniques combined with cardio and strengthening movement to create a high intensity, total body work out. /

Low Impact Cardio: an intense cardio workout with minimal stress to joints; classes vary in intensity and choreography.

Power Activation & Core: using the power of activation to perfect exercise technique through simple movements such as lunges and squats with a focus on proper form, balance and posture during exercise; core training last 30 minutes of class. Work out smarter, rather than harder!

Senior Fit: focus on improving strength, balance, and core muscles, with segments devoted to increasing joint range of motion and flexibility; modifications are offered for all fitness levels in a non-threatening environment.

Class Level Key
   Fitness Seeker: Classes are appropriate for individuals beginning a fitness program.
   Multi-Level: Classes are appropriate for most fitness/ability levels and can be modified.
   Fitness Enthusiast: Classes are appropriate for experienced individuals with a pre-existing fitness base, due to degree of difficulty, advanced choreography or level of cardio endurance required during class.
