Pilates Class Descriptions
Reformer Pilates
Participants use the Reformer to perform resistance-based exercises lyding down, sitting, kneeling and standing to contract and stretch your muscles. You will strengthen and tone abdominal muscles and develop a long lean look rather than adding bulk. Pilates will also assist in alleviating low back pain and increasing your flexibility.
Precision Pilates
Designed for people of all ages and athletic abilities, precision exercises include the use of light weights, magic circles and towers. You will develop a strong core, better balance, overall body strength, and more flexibility by learning the mind/body technique developed by Joseph H. Pilates.
Power Tower Pilates
Previous experience in Pilates mat work is recommended before participating. Take your Pilates experience to another level, working out with the Pilates Tower Unit alongside the classical mat. Improve your stretch, strength, stamina and stability. This fun, innovative and challenging exercise program will work your mind and your body.
Pilates Personal Training
The MACs Pilates personal training program provides a customized exercise regimen that matches specific needs and goals. No previous Pilates experience is necessary. Our trainers will use our fully-equipped studio to create a practical, personalized program for all levels of Pilates experience.
Mat Pilates (included with membership)
Work with your own resistance from a mat on the floor.
