Adult Instruction Program Class Levels
Description of Adult Levels:
1.0-2.0 Tennis USA 1-2-3: For beginner tennis players or players who have not played in a while and who did not have good basic fundamentals. This class teaches grips, footwork, and correct swing for the forehand, backhand, volley, overhead, and serve. You will also learn to keep score in playing situations.
2.0-3.0 Play/Practice: This class is for the low intermediate player who has limited playing experience and inconsistent strokes. Development of more consistent ground strokes, a better volley and overhead, and a stronger serve are all part of the experience. You will put these basic foundations into playing situations.
3.0-3.5 Play/Practice: This intermediate player has knowledge of all strokes and has a grasp of technique. They are working to develop more consistency with ball placement and better power. In game situations, they are working on better shot selection, and learning to play points smarter.
3.5-4.0 Play/Practice: This low advanced player has good footwork and basic match strategy. They are working on developing a killer shot to raise their game to the next level. You will learn to identify your strengths and weaknesses, and strategies for attacking your opponents game.
