Mary McKenna, a Patient Care Technician at Sparrow Carson Hospital, goes above and beyond to lift the spirits of patients and make sure they feel confident and comfortable in her care.
“Sometimes I can get our patients to laugh in the worst situation that they’re in, feeling so sickly, especially with a chronic illness,” said Mary. “It just helps them feel better and it gives me a reason to get out of the bed in the morning.
After holding many positions over her 45-year career at Sparrow Carson, Mary makes a true difference and positively impacts our patient's experience. That’s why she is this month’s Caregiver Spotlight.
