ST. JOHNS, MI – Sparrow Clinton Hospital is pleased to welcome highly skilled general surgeon Lauren Kwasny, D.O., to service the St. Johns-area community.
Kwasny comes to the SMG General Surgery St. Johns location from SMG General Surgery Lansing and performs procedures at Sparrow Clinton Hospital.
Kwasny treats a broad range of surgical conditions utilizing advanced techniques, including laparoscopy and endoscopy. She has a special interest in diseases affecting the endocrine system, including thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal disease. She is a member of the American Board of Surgery.
Kwasny completed her undergraduate studies at Western Michigan University, with a double degree in Biomedical Sciences and Psychology, and her medical doctorate degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Following medical school, she completed her general surgery residency at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo.
