Sparrow Health System understands that balancing home life with work can be tricky.
Sparrow Personal Assistants (S.P.A.) is the health system’s concierge service available to Sparrow patients, volunteers, physicians and Associates. S.P.A. can help you balance your personal and professional lives. SPA Services are free, you pay only for the product/service provided by the outside company. For example, S.P.A. will make your oil change appointment for you and see to it your vehicle is picked up and delivered on time, but you are responsible for paying for the oil change.
Associate Fitness Centers
Sparrow Associates can take advantage of the many benefits of regular exercise through the Associates in Motion fitness centers using the fitness centers at Sparrow and St. Lawrence campuses. The Sparrow campus facility is equipped with 13 workout machines and the St. Lawrence center is equipped with 6 workout machines.
Center for Health, Humanities and Well-Being offers classes, special
events, education and information on a variety of health and well-being issues.
Sparrow is home to Michigan's first hospital-based Labyrinth which is located in the Healing Garden
between the Sparrow Professional Building and the parking deck.
Michigan Athletic Club, a division of Sparrow Health System, is a nationally recognized health and
fitness club. Its 270,000 square feet includes four swimming pools, two gymnasiums, strength and cardiovascular training equipment, sixteen tennis
courts, eleven racquetball courts, three squash courts and three state-of-the-art aerobic studios. Numerous classes are offered. It is located
within the Sparrow Health Science Pavilion, which includes a wide range of medical services.
Childtime Learning Center
The Sparrow Childtime Learning Center offers full and part-time developmentally appropriate programs for:
- Infants
- Toddlers
- Preschool
- Before and after school children
- Snow day, winter, spring and summer break care for registered children
