Nursing Experience: RN for 11 years, Clinical areas of practice include: medical/surgical specialties, telemetry, pediatrics, emergency department, critical care, nursing supervision and nursing management.

Nursing Experience at Sparrow: New to Sparrow in 2007 as the Department Manager of the Women's Pavilion

Team Philosophy: Not one staff member is more important than another. All staff members are of EQUAL importance to the patients in the beds on our unit. It takes ALL of us (DM, ADM, RN, PCT, HUC, Housekeeping, Room service attendants, Case Managers, Doctors, Respiratory therapy, PT, OT, etc.) to create a “Best Stay” environment on 7 south and we must RESPECT each other and our roles to commit and accomplish this.

What Sarah likes most about her specialty area: My fabulous staff , the wide variety of patients we care for along with a strong focus on meeting unique needs of WOMEN!
