Team Philosophy:
The float team is a wonderful group of people who go throughout the organization to help out where their skills are needed. They have the opportunity to make a difference on each
unit they float to during their shift. They are a part of the team of providers on that unit for any given day. This opportunity is one of great reward to be able to help out where they are most needed for that shift. Whether it is to care for the
patient that needs a nurse, or to help their peer who is their break partner for the day, they make a difference in both the patient's and their peer's experience.
The leadership team in each area is available to make sure the staff has the tools necessary to provide the very best possible care. Giving our health care team the support they need is imperative to my role. Communication is the
key to be the very best in what we do as providers and co-workers.
What Jeanne likes about her specialty area:
Since our team has the opportunity to float throughout the organization, the experiences they have are endless. They get to care for a wide variety of patient populations expanding their
nursing knowledge and skills. They also get to meet other Associates throughout our organization to build relationships and friendships.
