This unit provides care for hospitalized patients, 12 years and older, suffering from acute or chronic Stage 5 Kidney
Disease requiring hemodialysis. We also provide treatment for patients with acute poisoning or drug overdose, and to unstable, critically ill patients by means
of Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy. This unit provides 1,700 - 1,800 treatments annually.
