Intravenous Specialty Infusion Center (ISIC)

The Intravenous Specialty Infusion Center (ISIC) is dedicated to quality, compassionate, cost-effective ambulatory services to patients in the mid-Michigan region. Infusion therapy services are provided to patients throughout the life continuum from pediatric to geriatric. The ISIC specializes in outpatient venous access device placement, maintenance, specialized medication administration, and transfusion therapy. The ISIC RN specialist also provides education to both patients and their families regarding all aspects of their therapy. Approximately 50% of the ISIC patients are undergoing treatment for some sort of oncologic diagnosis. These patients are treated in collaboration with the Regional Cancer Center and other area oncologists. All patients regardless of diagnosis are offered a highly personalized treatment experience in an atmosphere of support.
