This 30-bed unit cares for patients with respiratory illnesses (such as COPD, asthma, pneumonia, respiratory failure); medical illnesses (such as diabetes, sepsis, cellulitis); cardiac illnesses (such
as congestive heart failure, pulmonary disease, deep vein thrombosis ); stable patients in need of drip medications, or stable patients in need of ventilator support.
