Welcome
Thank you for your interest in the Sparrow Hospital/MSU Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program. As a four-year fully accredited ACGME program, we take great pride in providing
our residents with the academic and clinical experiences they need to become competent and compassionate health care providers for women.
The program curriculum is designed to fulfill the American Board of Obstetric and Gynecology educational requirements. We have a full time gynecological oncologist, a specialist
in maternal medicine, an infertility and reproductive endocrinology clinic, a neonatal intensive care unit, nationally recognized pathology and emergency
medicine departments, and a partnership with the nationally recognized Michigan State University Colleges of Human Medicine and
Osteopathic Medicine.
Sparrow provides an environment that is conducive to learning in the hospital and ambulatory settings with "real world" patient care experiences.
Under the supervision of an outstanding group of community and university based OB/GYN faculty we provide
twenty-four hour in-house faculty coverage. This supervision allows residents to assume progressively increasing levels of responsibility for preoperative and postoperative patient care
as you progress through your residency training.
For more information regarding our residency program, please email Roxanne Burnham, Residency Coordinator at Roxanne.Burnham@sparrow.org or call 517.364.2577.
