An Osteopathic Internship is required in the State of Michigan for a permanent medical license, but the internship year may count as the 1st year of most of our residency training programs.
The curriculum during the Osteopathic Internship year will be composed of rotation requirements set forth by the American Osteopathic
Association and the individual needs of the residency. Postgraduate medical education has been an important part of Sparrow's tradition for over sixty years. Our strong affiliation with Michigan State University offers an outstanding educational training
