What does a Palliative Care Service really mean to mid-Michigan?

Palliative care means that you can consult a team of healthcare professionals who will partner with you to coordinate the intricate care that is often necessary for seriously ill patients. The team will assess the needs of the patient and family, develop a plan of care/recommendations, and coordinate family meetings to assist staff in addressing patient and family wishes during this difficult time.
