Having an operation can be a frightening time for you and your family. We understand how uncertain and troubling this decision can seem, and how much disruption surgery can cause. I want you to know that all of the Surgeons, Nurses and Technicians in the Operating Rooms at Sparrow are committed to making your surgery as safe and successful as it can possibly be.
Here's what you can do: If you have questions, please speak up. If you are experiencing pain, let us know so we can help to control it. If you see something that bothers you, tell us immediately. You make us better doctors and nurses when you become part of the team.
No one wants to have an operation. We want yours to be the best experience it can be. You have our promise to treat you with respect and dignity and to provide for your safety while you are in our care.
