Resources for Parents
To obtain outpatient treatment for your child:
- Talk to your child's pediatrician...A physician's prescription is necessary to obtain services.
- Contact Sparrow Pediatric Rehab Department...Arrange for an evaluation appointment with the appropriate therapy.
- Verify insurance...Depending on your insurance, either you, your physician, or Peds Rehab must obtain authorization. Services must be authorized prior to treatment according to the treatment plan.
- Evaluation...Following the assessment, the therapist will report on findings and make his/her recommendations.
- Begin Treatment...Authorized treatment will be scheduled at the recommended frequency and duration.
