Resident Responsibilities
While a resident at Sparrow Health System, each resident will:
- Staff every 3rd weekend - day shift
- Conduct a Medication Use Evaluation
- Complete and present P&T monographs
- Author and edit the Pharmacy newsletter
- Attend regularly scheduled meetings with the director of pharmacy and other preceptors
- Assist in precepting Pharm.D. students
- Present residency project at the Great Lakes Residency Conference
- Complete formal continuing education presentations
- Participate in collaborative practice committees and clinical pathways
