Objectives

• All the advantages of the Basic Spirometry in assessment of possible Obstructive and Restrictive components of the Forced Vital Capacity and Timed Forced Expiratory Volumes.
• Additional assessment of Total Thoracic Gas Volume, Functional Residual Capacity and Residual Volume to assess gas trapping.
• Additional assessment of sensitive measurement of Airway Resistance and Conductance to closely quantify air flow.

Advanced level assessment

• all volumes and capacities
• all airway mechanics
• basic series with Pre and Post bronchodilator studies are standard with this option
• complete pulmonary function testing additionally includes Diffusion Capacity of Carbon Monoxide testing
