specialized education in pulmonary diagnostics and therapeutics are a wealth of resources to all of our patients.

Charge Technologist
This highly skilled professional has more than 27 years of experience in
Respiratory Care and Pulmonary Diagnostics with Sparrow Health System. She has
served with distinction in a number of positions from therapist to supervisor. She
presently serves as Charge Therapist and Coordinator in the Pulmonary Labs.

Linda, AAS, LRT, LPFT Technologist
Linda has worked for Sparrow Health System for over 13 years. Her extensive
experience includes a respiratory therapist and a charge therapist in both the
hospital and home care settings. She has worked with both pediatric and adult patients
and extends her abilities to working with the pulmonary rehab patients. She is a
licensed respiratory therapist and a registered pulmonary function technologist.

Phil Pavona, BS, RRT
Pulmonary Services Director
Phil is a lifelong resident of the Lansing community and has been with the Sparrow
Health System for nearly 35 years. A graduate of Western Michigan University, Phil has served
the Health System in a variety of roles and positions. He is currently the Director of Pulmonary
Services where he oversees the therapeutic and diagnostic care provided by over 100 individuals.
Pulmonary Services encompasses the departments of Pulmonary Function, Pulmonary Rehabilitation,
Respiratory Therapy and the Sleep Center Diagnostics Lab.

John Rinck, MM, RRT, CPFT
Manager
More than 29 years of service to the Sparrow Health System as a Respiratory Therapist.
Of those, more than seven years have been dedicated to diagnostic testing within the
pediatric and neonatal patients, with an emphasis on neonatal lung development research.

Peter Zipple, AAS, LRT, LPFT Technologist
A graduate of Ferris State University, Pete began his career in Respiratory Therapy in 1989.
He has over a decade and a half working in pulmonary diagnostics. His extensive experience in
pulmonary diagnostics has come from working with several brands of equipment in different
laboratories. He specializes in pediatrics.
