Our program consists of three phases:
Phase 1 – An inpatient program that introduces the patient to the benefits of exercise and education.
Phase 2 – An outpatient program consisting of exercise, education and psychosocial support. Sessions are
offered two times each week for up to 12 weeks.
Phase 3 – A self-paced, self-pay maintenance program. Under the supervision of a pulmonary rehab therapist,
participants can attend group exercise sessions to help maintain strength and endurance.

- Increased energy, strength and endurance
- Increased exercise tolerance
- Less respiratory symptoms
- Increased understanding of lung disease and treatment
- Less hospitalizations
- Less emergency room visits
- Increased ability to participate in home, recreational and community activities
- Increased independence
- Less anxiety and depression
- Enhanced ability to perform activities of daily living
