Inpatient Rehabilitation Visiting Policies

We welcome visitors to the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit; however, the following policies must be followed:

1. No more than two visitors per patient at one time.
2. Visitors are not allowed to smoke in the hospital.
3. Children are allowed to visit only if accompanied by an adult. Please do not leave children unattended.
4. Visitors should check with the dietitian or rehabilitation nurse before bringing in candy, food, or drinks as these may interfere with diet restrictions.
5. No phone calls are allowed to patient extensions after 9:00 p.m. Visitors may direct calls to the nursing station after that time.
6. Please do not take the patient off the nursing unit without first checking with the nurse.

Visiting hours are flexible on the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit because of therapy schedules. Visitors are welcome any time during the day, though we request them to leave the unit by 8:00 p.m. Visitation should not interfere with scheduled therapy.

Parking - Visitors should park in the ramp just west of the hospital. The cost is $2.00 and is collected as you exit the ramp. Valet parking is also available for $3 per visit. If you leave and plan on returning the same day, a ticket will be issued to you so that you don't need to pay twice.
