Rehabilitation patients are admitted after having an acute event or an exacerbation of a chronic illness that
is complicated by medical instability and deconditioning. Clinical pathways consist of protocols that enable our
team to evaluate, manage and maximize outcomes for activities of daily living, mobility, nutrition, concurrent
diseases or conditions, tolerance and endurance, and behavioral, culture and social issues.
