Former patient Bridget Warlick shares photos of her grandson with Cynthia Boynton, MD. Bridget, a mother and recent
grandmother from Bancroft, MI, was hospitalized at SSH for nearly six months as she recovered from serious injuries received in a car crash.
Bridget, who suffered massive wounds and extensive injuries to her internal organs, was first cared for in a hospital intensive care unit
and later, in an inpatient rehabilitation unit. But her injuries weren't responding. She needed something more.
"What we provide our patients is time to heal," said Dr. Boynton, who also serves as SSH Medical Director. "Many of our patients come from hospital
critical care units and they need to be weaned from a ventilator, or they need bedside dialysis or additional surgery. We have the patience and skill to
expertly fill these needs."
Thanks to the care she received at Sparrow Specialty Hospital, Bridget is now at home and enjoying life.
