Visiting Hours
There are no specific hours for visitation. However, late night or early morning visits are discouraged for the
well being of the patient. No more than two visitors may visit any patient at any time.
Children under the age of 14 are not encouraged to visit Sparrow Specialty Hospital for their own well being. If
children under the age of 18 are brought to Sparrow Specialty Hospital for any reason, an adult must accompany
them at all times.
Phone Calls
Each patient room has a direct phone number. Please do not call patients between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. so as not to
disturb other patients. In an Emergency, call the Nurse's Station at 517.364.6801.
Family Lounge
The family lounge is available to all families and friends of patients in Sparrow Specialty Hospital. Please feel
free to drink the coffee or tea available. Please be sure to turn off the coffee pot before you leave the lounge.
There is a phone located in the family lounge. Staff may call the family lounge in order to communicate with
families, please keep this line open as much as possible. A courtesy phone is also available outside the family
lounge for your convenience.
