The Surgical Lounge is available for those waiting for patients in surgery. The information desk in the Surgical Lounge is staffed by Sparrow Volunteers who keep family members updated on the status of a patient. Complimentary coffee is available in the Surgical Lounge.
Family members of patients having surgery are eligible for temporary use of Sparrow in-house pagers. This will allow family members to visit the cafeteria, gift shop or step outside for a few moments without fear of missing an update from the physician or nursing staff. These pagers function only at the Sparrow campus and are provided free of charge. See the volunteer in the Surgical Lounge for more information on the day of your visit.

There are several computer stations available in the Surgical Lounge area with internet access to use for email communication.
