Visiting Hours
The general visiting hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Family and friends must obtain a visitor's pass at the Information Desk located in the main lobby to visit all patient care
areas. If you need to enter the hospital after 9 p.m. or before 5 a.m., please go to the Emergency Dept. entrance.
The following special care units have their own guidelines to ensure that every patient has the best possible care. For exceptions, please speak with your nurse.
- Mother Baby Center:
Visitors 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 5 - 8 p.m.
- Pediatric Intensive Care Unit:
Parents may visit anytime. Occasionally parents may be asked to wait in the parent lounge for short
periods of time. Visitors may visit between 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. Balloons and stuffed animals only.
- Pediatrics:
Parents may visit any time. One cot per patient will be provided to a parent wanting to spend the night.
Grandparents, friends and other family members may visit between 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. Please, no visitors under
12 years of age.
- RNICU (Please

- Adult Intensive Care Units - The Critical Care Units have
specific guidelines for visitation and patient inquiries.
- Cardiac Intensive Care Unit: Immediate family or significant other, two at a time.
No visiting between 7 - 8:30 a.m. and 7 - 8:30 p.m. No flowers or live plants please.
- Intensive Care Unit: Immediate family or significant other, two at a time. No visiting
between 7 - 8:30 a.m. and 7 - 8:30 p.m. No flowers or live plants please.
- Neurological Intensive Care Unit:
Immediate family or significant other, two at a time for 10 minutes every hour. No visiting between 7-8:30 a.m. and 7-8:30 p.m.
No flowers or live plants please.
Visiting & Privacy Options for Patients
As a patient, several options are offered to ensure your privacy and rest.
- Information Hold provides you with privacy. This indicator means the hospital will
acknowledge that you are here, but will provide no information on room number or condition. You will not
receive phone calls, mail or flowers.
- No Visitors Phone Calls Only is also available.
- No Phone Calls is also available.
- Family Members Only allows your immediate family members and/or significant other to visit,
but general visitation will not be allowed.
