Before & After Care

Prior to surgery patients:

• Undergo both medical and psychological screenings.

• Attend pre-surgical education classes taught by behaviorists, registered dietitians, exercise specialists, and registered nurses.
• Attend appropriate individual consultations.
• Receive medical monitoring by physicians and registered nurses.
• Participate in meal replacement program using OPTIFAST^® products.

After surgery patients

• Attend post-surgery educational classes.
• Attend appropriate individual consultations.
• Participate in long-term support groups.

Patiens receive long-term (at least 5 years) medical and surgical monitoring specifically designed for the type of surgical procedure performed.
