Dr. Panduranga Reddy Yenumula, MD

Dr. Yenumula is a graduate of Guntur Medical College in Guntur, India, with board certification from the postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh, India, and the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland.

• He completed fellowships in minimally invasive surgery through the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pennsylvania. Dr. Yenemula is the only bariatric surgeon in Mid-Michigan to have successfully completed advanced fellowship training at these nationally recognized institutions.
• Surgical residencies were also completed with Drexel University College of Medicine in Pennsylvania and Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center in New York.
• His additional areas of practice include surgical education, research, and gastrointestinal, and hepatobiliary surgery.
• Dr. Yenumula performs Roux-en-Y gastric bypass and gastric banding procedures using primarily the laparoscopic technique.
