Using this method, and a simple drum rhythm, participants shift their brain wave activity into more optimal states of being. Just as meditation is beneficial to health, the benefits of this type of brain activity (alpha brainwave, and delta upon deeper practice) are the ability to relax and keep the mind on idle when not focused on specific task, heightened feelings of well-being and euphoria, increased creativity, peace, and deep emotional healing. Yet it has been found that given a very ‘mental’ and stressed lifestyle, many people do not engage in this very healthy type of mental activity at all.
Groundbreaking work in fields such as the 'new biology', quantum physics, and alternative medicine are validating traditional spiritual practices and their positive effects upon the mind/body/spirit connection –helping us to truly 'thrive' and live in a state of 'wellness'.
If you are interested in learning more about this technique, please contact Kate Durda at 517.543.6754
