Cancellations
When it is necessary to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call at least 24-hours in advance so that we may allow someone else
the opportunity to have that appointment time. If you discover that you will be late for your scheduled appointment, please call.
Telephone Calls and Messages
During normal business working hours, a receptionist will take your call. If necessary, the physician will be contacted and your question or
problem will be addressed as soon as possible.
After Hours Calls
In urgent matters after hours, weekends, and holidays, call 517.364.2570 and in a true medical emergency call 911. A physician will return your call as soon as possible. Please
save non-urgent calls, such as regular appointment scheduling, prescription refills, and lab results for regular office hours.
Medication Requests and Refills
For your convenience, medication refill requests will be taken during regular working hours. We ask you to plan ahead, and call us at least one week
before your prescription runs out. This will assure prompt attention to your request. Your refills will be processed within 24 hours.
Insurance
Our physicians participate with many insurance plans including Medicaid. Please ask the receptionist about your specific insurance when
you call to schedule an appointment. We will be happy to bill your insurance for all covered services however, we expect all co-payments at
time of service.
Privacy
We are both legally and ethically obligated to maintain patient privacy. We cannot discuss a patient's condition with family or friends without
permission.
